Advance Adapters
The TH400 adapter to the Land Cruiser 19 spline transfer case is 3.19” in length. And the overall length of the transmission and adapter is 27.44”. The adapter material is 356 T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. The adapter kit includes an adapter housing, adapter plate, 19 spline spud shaft, sealed bearing, gaskets, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
Transfer Case
This adapter assembly fits August 1980 to 1989 transfer cases. The transfer case design was changed to a split-case design configuration with a 19 tooth internal spline on the input gear. Additional information can be obtained in our Land Cruiser Conversion Manual, TLC001.
Transmission
This adapter assembly is designed for exclusive use with the GM TH400 transmission 4wd version with the 2.5" Stick Out. This Transmission would have had an NP208 or the Round Pattern NP205 Originally Mated to it.
