Bringing the quality and craftsmanship of the original, the BlackBox-Eco-i was designed for the 4x4’er on a budget. While retaining the originals technology, quality and durability, the Eco is minimized to reduce cost. Designed Specifically for the Dana 300 and Bronco Dana 20 Transfer Cases we were able to greatly reduce the overall installed length. Designed to be a DIY builder kit; cases are shipped empty, and the customer provides the gears, and does the install and assembly. Low Range on a budget.
Jeep Dana 300
Replacing the input shaft and housing, the Dana 300 input gear directly splines onto the EcoBox-i output shaft, making this a very compact 5.33” long EcoBox-i.
Bronco Dana 20
Replacing the long factory input shaft and bearing retainer, the 6-spline input gear mounts directly to the EcoBox-i output Shaft. This adds up to a compact 5.518” long gearbox assembly that can now also be easily adapted to a wide range of transmissions.
While the installation requires an intermediate level of mechanical aptitude, we also provide an installation overview.
