The FJ62 Automatic to 1986 & up GM V8 Kit part no. 712535-B
This Mark’s 4wd kit utilizes the Toyota bellhousing and mid-plate, instead of a replacement bellhousing, a flywheel housing is supplied which measures 122 mm/4.8" long. This housing has the GM bolt pattern on the front and the Toyota 3F, bolt pattern on the rear.
The transmission torque converter is coupled to the flywheel via a crankshaft adaptor. The adaptor has the Toyota crankshaft bolt pattern and crank diameter on the transmission end with the GM crankshaft bolt pattern and diameter on the engine end.
This allows the Toyota flex plate and torque converter to be bolted to the rear as with the old 3F engine. On the rear of the engine a manual flywheel is used instead of a flex plate, as there is no provision to support a flex plate when the starter motor is engaged.
The Kit consists of: Adaptor flywheel housing, adaptor boss, adaptor housing cover plate, all required bolts, oil pressure sender adaptor, temperature sender adaptor, instructions.
