Advance Adapters
Kit 50-6904 will adapt a 700R / 4L60 / 4L60E transmission to Ford Borg Warner 1345 / 1356 and NP205 transfer cases. The adapter is 3.625" in length and manufactured using 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy. The adapter lit includes an adapter housing, 27 spline x 31 spline spud shaft, new main shaft for the transmission, spud shaft bearing, snap rings, o-ring, gasket, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.
Note: As previously stated, this kit includes our transmission main shaft that will need to be installed into the transmission.
Note: When using the NP205 transfer case, a NP205 shifter bracket will need to be fabricated for shifter support.
Transmissions
- 1982-93 model 700R / 4L60 transmission 2wd or 4wd core and rebuild with our conversion main shaft.
- 1994-96 4L60E transmission 2wd or 4wd core and rebuild with our conversion main shaft. These model year transmission will require our PN716073 VSS kit.
- 1997 & up 4L60E / 4L65E transmission 2wd or 4wd core and rebuild with our conversion main shaft. These model year transmission will require our PN50-0405 VSS kit.
