Advance Adapter

Our Advance Adapter 50-6802 will allow you to adapt a GM TH350 3 speed automatic transmission to the Jeep NP231 transfer case. The adapter housing is 1.50” in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. We also supply a mounting provision on the bottom of the housing to bolt-on our heavy duty transmission mount (716008). The adapter kit includes an adapter housing, NEW 27 spline NP231 Input Shaft and TH350 Output Shaft, bearing, gasket, seal, o-ring, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.

Note: The new NP231 input supplied in this kit cannot be used with a Tera 4:1 kit Transfer Case. The adapter assembly will fit either the Jeep NP231 transfer case with a 21 or 23 spline input shaft. This input shaft protrudes from the face of the transfer case 1.19” or 2.12”. Note: the new NP231 input supplied in this kit only fits NP231 model years 1995 & up.

Transmission

This adapter kit is designed for exclusive use with the 2 or 4wd GM TH350 automatic transmission. The TH350 transmission was first mass produced in 1969 for both 2WD and 4WD vehicles and remained prevalent through 1982. The transmission was standard for most V6 and V8 vehicles. The Th350 transmission can be identified by its’ 21-1/2" long one piece aluminum case. The transmission has an integral or non-removable bellhousing.
