Ford C6/ZF5 to Jeep Dana 300 23sp Transfer Case Adapter

This adapter kit will allow you to adapt the Ford C6 automatic transmission to the Jeep Dana 300 transfer case. The adapter kit includes a .750” rotation ring, new 31 spline Dana 300 input shaft, bearing, gasket, seal, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.

Note: The Ford ZF 5 speed manual transmission can also be used with this adapter kit.

 

 

The adapter assembly fits the1980-86 Jeep Dana 300. The Dana 300 features a 2.67:1 low range and a centered rear output shaft. This unit is gear driven, has a circular six front bolt pattern with a 23 spline female input shaft and a cast-iron case.

 

 

This adapter assembly is designed for exclusive use with the Ford C6 automatic transmission 4wd. The 4wd output shaft must stickout .710” beyond the transmission case. The C6 is a 3 speed, heavy duty automatic with a case length of 20”, a non-removable bell housing and an oil pan that is held on with 17 bolts.
