Double & Single Steering Arms, HD Draglinks, Tie Rods, & Pitman Arms The Sceince Behind The Madness Crossover Steering eliminates all of these effects by changing you steering geometry from "push/pull" to a longer laterally moving draglink that connects from your new pitman arm, to passenger side steering arm mounted to the knuckle. The only basic requirement is that your vehicle have a 2wd sector shaft installed in the steering box, and 4" or more of lift to allow the draglink to clear the engine crossmember. Hi-Steer is usually used in conjunction with crossover steering to make a truly bullet-proof system.
