The Best In CNC Billet D44 Arms D60 Double Arm

The Sceince Behind The Madness

One of the best mods for your rig is to upgrade to a quality Crossover Steering system. Stock steering in most vehicles does not take well to geometry changes due to lift kits, which commonly causes ill effects such as bumpsteer, roll steer and loss of steering movement when the suspension is articulating.

Crossover Steering eliminates all of these effects by changing you steering geometry from "push/pull" to a longer laterally moving draglink that connects from your new pitman arm, to passenger side steering arm mounted to the knuckle. The only basic requirement is that your vehicle have 4" or more of lift, to allow the draglink to clear the engine crossmember.

Our D44 Crossover Steering Arms bolt to the steering knuckle just like the factory drivers side arm, however this presents one key problem with Dana 44 Axles; aside from aftermarket knuckles (such as Dedenbear, Solid Axle) the factory knuckles were not drilled and tapped to mount a steering arm on the passenger side of the vehicle. You will need what is known as a 'flat top' knuckle, which then needs to be drilled and tapped for the steering arm pattern. We can machine, drill and tap your flat top for $80.
What Are The Advantages To Our Kit?

Dana 44 Steering Arm The biggest problem with the majority of D44 steering arms availible on the market today is height; the D44 knuckle is quite shallow, combined with thick leaf spring packs can cause interference problems between the draglink and springs. One solution previously used is to add a 'spacer' underneath the steering arm, combined with exceptionally long steering studs. This system is much weaker by design due to increased possiblity of knuckle studs shearing.

To Solve this problem, we have designed our Dana 44 Steering arms to be a full 1.25" thick at the knuckle, while stepping up to a full 2.5" tall at the draglink mount for the most in clearance. This allows a standard length stud, and plenty of leaf spring clearance; the best of both worlds.

That's not all, all of our Dana 44 Arms Also Include:

Dana 44 Steering Arm - 100% CNC Machined From Billet Steel
- Arm Geometry Adjusted For Steering and Balljoint Axis Inclination Angle.
- Tapered For Tie Rod Ends or Drilled For 3/4" Heims.
- 4th Hole For DedenBear and Solid Axle Knuckle Compatibility.

Hi-Steer Kit

The second most common steering problem is due to bent or deformed stock steering components. The factory Tie rods are not only weak, but placed in a vulnerable location to be attacked by rocks, stumps and other debris, quickly rendering your steering useless.
Two solutions to this issue is to upgrade your Tie Rod to a HD unit that will not bend, or move your tie rod location above the springs, which is known has Hi-Steer. Hi-Steer is used in conjunction with crossover steering to make a truly bullet-proof system.

Shown Below Is Our Complete Hi-Steer Steer Kit, Which Includes:
- 1 Passenger Side D44 Arm
- 1 Drivers Side D$$ Arm
- 6 High Strength Studs, Cone Washers Top-Lok Nuts.
- 1 Crossover Pitman Arm

- 1 Tie Rod
- 4 Tie Rod Ends For Draglink and Tie Rod with LH/RH Jam Nuts.
The Kit is $759.00 USD.
