CABLE SHIFTER KIT (Single,Double,& Tripple kits) _____________________________________________________________________________ 
Step 1: Slide 3/8" washer over strip-bolt.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 2: Insert strip bolt through side of shifter bracket and slide on nylon washer. Insert threaded section of shifter through slit in the bracket (if you have a double or triple unit – make sure shifters bend towards the outside of shifter bracket). Now slide the strip bolt through the shifter.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 3: Repeat until all shifters are mounted. NOTE: Two nylon washers are supplied per shifter, therefore, there will be two nylon washers between shifters.   _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 4: Once the strip bolt exits the other side of the shifter bracket, use the 5/16” washer and stover nut to snug assembly together. Test that shifters move for and aft with no side play and binding.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 5: Before going to Step 6, Install the shifter linkage and cable(s) onto your transfer case also supplied in you kit. This information can be found in our TECH section. _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 6: Once your transfer case(s) is/are mounted in your vehicle, route cables through the hole in the cab where you have made room for your shifter bracket to mount. Thread off one jam nut and lock ring off the end of each cable.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 7: Insert the cable(s) through the holes(s) in the shifter bracket. Re-install locking ring and jam nut onto the shift cable(s).  ____________________________________________________________________________ Step 8: Thread the shifter clevis onto the end of shift cable until the end of the cable sits flush with the end of the clevis threads.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 9: Attach the shifter to the clevis with a strip bolt and nylock nut. Snug the cable jam nut against the clevis. Repeat for remaining shifters.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 10: You can adjust the position (fore and aft) of the lever throw by adjusting the jam nuts on the shifter cable where it meets the shifter bracket. _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 11: Slide the shift boot over the shifter(s) and thread on a jam nut for each shifter.  _____________________________________________________________________________ Step 1: Supplied in the hardware kit are 4 self tapping machine screws. Use these to mount your shifter assembly. Finish the installation by threading on the shift knobs. Tighten jam nut against each shift knob.  _____________________________________________________________________________ You have now finished assembly of our CABLE SHIFTER KIT!
