All of our NP203/NP205 transfer cases are fully inspected and rebuilt with new wear parts (bearings, seals, bushings, etc). The base prices do not include factory adaptors, drive sleeves, yokes, or upgraded parts.

We offer rebuilt GM, Ford, and Dodge NP203 range boxes for your dual transfer case kit. Our NP203 Range boxes include our Billet NP203 Bearing Retainer and PTO Cover. Input gear configurations are available in b>10, 23, 27, 31 and 32 spline.

If purchasing a NP203/NP205 adaptor at the same time as a range box, prices listed include installation of the kit into the NP203 range box. (This does not include the dual T-case adaptor itself) which makes installation into your rig a breeze.

GM, Ford & Dodge NP205's

The NP205 is a helical gear driven transfer case with a 1.96:1 reduction ratio in low, and 1:1 in high range.
It is an extremely stout transfer case that was used in a variety of applications from early 1970 to 1991 in GM, Ford, Dodge and IH.
All of our NP205 transfer cases are shipped dry and weight in @ ~130lbs, and is 12.5" from the front mounting face to center of the rear output U joint.

All of our NP205's are built with our upgraded Billet Bearing Retainer and PTO Cover Kit, (Shown below, with option sight tube kit).

The GM NP205 has a passenger side front output, and is available in fixed (recommended) or slip yoke rear output.
The 10 and 27 spline versions require drive sleeves to mate to the transmission which are not included in the base price of the transfer case.
In 1985 GM Changed their case pattern to a 6 bolt 'round' pattern with a long 32 spline input gear from their older 'Figure 8' case. Generally we do not have these cores on hand an can only build these kit with LowMAX aftermarket cases. Please call if your application requires this type of transfer case.

Available Upgrades:
Stock front output configuration for a GM NP205 is 30 spline. You may upgrade to a Billet 32 spline front output shaft for $149.00 USD


The Ford NP205 has a drivers side front output, and is available in 'Married' and 'Divorced' versions. The married Ford NP205 has a female 31 spline input gear, and directly bolts to the transmission adaptor housing. The 'Divorced' Ford NP205 has a yoke type input and connects to the transmission with the use a of a short driveshaft. The Ford NP205 comes with a 32 spline front output as a factory option.
